Final Destination: Bloodlines (2025) 
It plowed through like a Tetris puzzle piece dropping on "expert" mode without "life saves." The 60's was fun disaster puff with repeat appeal. Mapping is what the movie is all about and it does very well concocting ways to desecrate life. The winks work better than the clues. Audience involvement is half the fun and fooling us is even better. Tony Todd acted with his last breath and anointed himself the ultimate Candyman. 02-Aug-2025
I was not familiar with Nosferatu folklore. Couldn't finish the silent film because the romanticism got lost when they made Dracula a hideous monster. The reason Count can appear human is because he's a metaphor for the monsters living inside of us. Ugly things are not tempting or worth filming. The original movie caused a stir for being a direct knock-off of Dracula. They were supposed to burn every copy but some assholes from the future salvaged them. Having to learn new character names fucked with my memorization. Renfield has always irritated me. Every iteration of him is nasty and nuts. Maybe a female Renfield would benefit the mythology. She can crush on the Count, serve him, become jealous and overprotective esp. when he meets Mina or Lucy or whatever name changes already existed. I'd make her a witch. The mood and an obsession created a shadow atmosphere with no soul or action to back it up. Why did they make Lilly Rose look like that? She looked ready to churn butter. Adding more mumbo jumbo destroyed what the original carefully invented. The added myths are cheats with no thought process. The director diluted hunky man hotness. My ears started ringing when I heard Skarsgard's accent. Why was he speaking so slow? To fill space? Skarsgard is all monster and no personality. Covering aspects of what makes an actor shine is blasphemous. It could have been Alexa voicing it because I never felt Skarsgard's presence. He buried himself inside the character. The foretelling was exhausting. Why tell us what's going to happen next? Be quiet and show us. The shadows in Eggers art overlapped the humans creating them. 01-Jul-2025
Well assembled rendition of what's been done before. The story had little impact and cliched emotions. The actors and the spectacle are worthy with little help from the script. Entertainment without soul. 09-May-2025

Naomi Scott created a character that was easy to understand and interesting to follow. The plot was basic. Many things seemed random. An out of the blue character always appears to explain the rules. The mythology is so vague that explanations became invalid. I still don't know what was real or not. I was committed because Ms. Scott was master tripping on emotions. I concocted many scenarios but I couldn't accept the smile thing (Joker thoughts), the mythology (not Buffy) or the scares (Terrifier-centric.) 09-Apr-2025
It had elements that would have created art and stir the heart. It's depressing. The drab appearance lacks animation color. Having no love interest, the vigilante turned hero has no one to pull him back when he goes beyond animal. Kraven's father had only one thought. Don't be weak. He says it in almost every scene with him and his brother. The brother bond doesn't coalesce beyond physical distance which made me not care. Ariana DeBose surprised me. I had no idea that she was Calypso. They missed an opportunity not making her a voodoo priestess because the religion is real and she's scary as fuck. Tagging the Chameleon instead of exposing him was also a waste. The daddies were ready to blow things up but the words in conversation lacked thought. The action sequences were enjoyably brutal, the Rhino took too long to become, Calypso could have been given more to do and villains can only become good after a hero beats them, again, again and again. 15-Mar-2025
What Happened To Monday (2017)
Glenn Close deserves to play a bona-fide witch. She'd be unforgettable. Willem Dafoe was cerebral and dominant. Marwan Kenzari is unbuckling. At first I thought it was the slicked back hair until I saw his beard. His beard had shadows. I could smell his smoke. What a beautiful beast. It was hardening. Noomi Rapace added texture to all her personalities and made them unique. Some of her guises were marvelous. The future is overloaded with children and the law has issued that families can only have one. A mother dies giving birth to septuplets and dad inherits the burden of keeping 7 sisters safe. He keeps them alive and they thrive until one goes missing. Action sequences were impactful, set-ups were energetic, the actors delivered and the director kept it interesting. 19-Nov-2024

A boy learns the word slut from his mother. An orphan teenager and her polio stricken sister are adopted by a single mom and her 7 children. All is good until it's tragically not. Based on fact, the story follows the boy next door with a crush on a teen dream that tears his world apart. The aunt's brood are the product of perversion and horror. The abuse was horrendous enough to make you pull your hair out. Some of the scenes are oxygen intolerant. The boys/men faired better than the girls/women. The boys interpreted it as a sport while the girls/women dreaded everything. Had the aunt had Piper Laurie chops I would have shat my pants. Safe and artless. Teen dream did not give us more than was written but she was effective. The film works because when a monster has the power to influence one person, the whole community will join in. How does a child get help with that kind of force? Heartbreaking. 17-Jul-2023
Daddy's ready to act, pounce and revive an unwilling survivor. Movements and betrayals were triumphant. Hemsworth receives magnificent aide in battle as he abandons all pity towards his enemy and unleashes an animal that knows no bounds. The action slows enough to make us care about the characters but the action is the showcase and the director needs to make us a superhero film. People would cum web buckets or shit bats. 07-Jul-2023

It would be exploitation if the rape weren't the catalyst to the main's empowerment. Woman alone stays in the country where blue collar men with too much work, time, ugly women and no manners abound. City girl is a writer who handles well, is lonely, trusting and helpless. Among the victimizers is a challenged man that is susceptible to gang mentality and betrayal. The rape had elements of realism and buffoonery. The men are cartoonish during it, pulling faces and acting like they've never fucked anything before. Maybe, it was to soften audience blow. Our lady was courageous on and off camera. The comeback is not as powerful because the violence was of the Kool-Aid variety. They cut the penis dismemerment scene! Boo. 4K adds the clarity that time fixed. Scenes sparkle with beauty and the protagonist is a Charlie's Angel vigilante. 16-May-2023
A family is stalked by a presence whilst dealing with infidelity, trust and motherhood. Halfway through, it dishes out answers. We are ready for an anything can happen scenario and it delivers. There were no whys answered but the clues added up. Helen Hunt established intelligence until she was abruptly cut off. Phrogs are homeless people with better digs. The surprises kept coming because we weren't given a fair study of who the characters were. The prequel. 1. Ignore the phrogs. Expose the emotions that catapulted the insanity. 2. Rewind. 3. A rough telling of a serial murderer who uses his hate for gays, family and all that get in his way to torture and kill. 4 brothers live with momma on a decrepit block, in a creaking house and a scary neighborhood. A neighbor babysits three of the boys and sexually molests them. I didn't quite understand how the mother found out. Did the LGBTQ tell her? She meets a man full of hatred who disguises it with charm. The teen boy is having boy problems. He keeps getting raped, losing friends and his mother is a follower who can't attract a proper man to follow. Teen bonds with new daddy unaware that he's an asshole. New daddy can't stop talking about killing pedos. The followers in his life concur. They should be allowed to kill them freely. Daddy gets into teen's head and secretly shares a sadistic side that the kid embraces because he is a victim of the people daddy wants to eviscerate. The Australian cast are so realistic that I couldn't understand them. TU cc. There are images that keep repeating in my brain because that caused it to silently scream whilst watching them. There's murder, rape, perversion, animal desecration, torture, hurt and realism. The film qualifies as Texas Chainsaw's cousin. 09-Mar-2023
