A Delaware charter school will pay parents up to $700-per-year to drive their own children to school as it grapples with a shortage of bus drivers.

EastSide Charter School in Wilmington said it will to offer the incentive to parents for the upcoming school year after struggling to find adequate staffing across the board.

The Left's Hypocrisy on Violence Is on Full Display

In the wake of the violent riots at the Capitol, the left predictably tried to paint Conservatives with a broad brush of all being violent hate-mongers. This is despite years of violence from the left, often rationalized with excuses of various justifications for that behavior. The violent riots of last year were encouraged by members of the Squad and even the current Vice President, Kamala Harris. We were told that the damage seen in major cities across the country was a result of our failure to act on whatever pet issue the offending group was “fighting” for, and we were to blame for the violence, not the perpetrators. Part of Trump’s mantra during this time was “law and order,” to which the left laughed and often violently reacted to those statements, as well.

When the Capitol Riots took place, the left and media swarmed Republican lawmakers, demanding apologies and for them to denounce the violence… and Trump. The media circled like sharks, attempting to paint conservatives as co-conspirators in some vast conspiratorial action to overthrow the American Government, despite their vehement rejections of violent rhetoric. Meanwhile, for the last four years, we have endured liberal conspiracy after liberal conspiracy to overthrow the duly elected President of the United States. Their rhetoric has been responsible for protests and violence across the country yet, somehow, they get a pass.

Restaurant closes for 'day of kindness' after customers disrespect staff

This Massachusetts restaurant has a tip for rude diners – be nice, or don’t eat.

The owners of Brewster-based Apt Cape Cod decided to shut down for a "day of kindness" after a slew of customers apparently mistreated its staff, cursed and demanded take orders before the restaurant even opened for business.

"There were a few incidents that were so horrendous – the cursing and not being understanding of our short staff and limited menu – we had someone call in at 6:30 a.m. before we even open demand take out saying, ‘I’m going to come in, and you're going to serve me," Emilia Povero, a manager at Apt Cade Cod told FOX News. "That was the straw that broke the camel's back. Our staff doesn't need to deal with this."

Florida will PAY parents to move their kids to private schools if they're 'bullied' for not wearing face masks

Florida officials have promised to pay for parents to move their children to private schools if they are 'bullied' for not wearing face masks in schools.

The Florida Department of Education approved an emergency rule Friday to hand out private school vouchers to any parent wanting to take their children out of public schools that have enforced mask mandates.

Such vouchers, offered through the Hope Scholarship, are usually used to move children from schools where they are the victims of bullying.

How Small Restaurant Owners Are Navigating the Labor Shortage

Every few weeks, it seems, a new photo goes viral on social media showing a sign in a restaurant window declaring: “This restaurant is closed because no one wants to work.” Restaurant owners have, for months now, been quoted in articles and TV news hits decrying the ongoing labor shortage, blaming the enhanced unemployment benefits enacted during the pandemic for disincentivizing returning to work.

But those benefits have expired in some states already — and some jobs data suggests ending them didn’t exactly lead to a wave of rehires.

'I had to take off my $800 sneakers and cut my own grass': Mass labor shortage in the exclusive Hamptons leaves the rich to cut their own lawns, do their own laundry and even paint their own nails

The pampered residents have been mocked online as mass labor shortages forces them to do the unthinkable; mow their own lawns and do their own nails.

I had to buy a lawn mower and cut my own lawn. I wanted flowers planted behind the pool,' one resident posted on the neighborhood app Nextdoor. 'The landscaper didn't show up. I had to do it myself,'

The same person added that their brother had to teach them how to use 'the thing that trims the weeds.'

'Yesterday, I finally did that. I had to take my $800 sneakers off first, but it was actually satisfying,' the resident added.

'Omg not their lawns!! Should we start a gofundme? Maybe send an edible arrangement?' one person wrote on Twitter.
